I wish to offer my most genuine appreciation to all who have helped, supported, encouraged, and respected my journey as a researcher, writer and now published author with my book indicating the realities and complexities of the hospitality industry, titled ‘Owning a Café or Coffee Shop’.
As borders open, I look forward to personally reaching out to the vast array of people that are considering entering, are currently involved or simply wish to have a deeper understanding of the cutthroat world of hospitality.
To date in WA, I have been blessed with more than 20 book shops offering ‘Owning a Café or Coffee Shop’ for sale together with a similar number of libraries. Add an ever-increasing number of coffee roasters who are recommending my book to cafes and coffee shops while several Barista Academies have come on board and bingo my goal of endeavouring to help others is slowly but surely heading in the right direction.
So, to everyone who has ever taken time to read or follow my articles, I thank you and I sincerely wish you and your loved ones not only a happy and safe Christmas and New Year but in 2022 I pray that your dreams and hopes somehow will come true.
