It also building a wonderful connection with the community, such that individual coffee lovers can now be educated on all thing’s coffee which may include advice on the best grind that suits their preferred brewing method.
Stay Grounded Coffee Roasters is the brainchild of Andrew de Roo whose rise since 2017 in the fiercely competitive world of coffee roasting has been made easier due the great team he has assembled, not to mention the wonderful support and input from his wife Abby.
Getting to know his customers in a sincere and genuine way is a priority and as Andrew would say, it is a must in his eyes to create and enhance relationships where there is no bulldust involved. This approach is evident not only with café owners but is plainly obvious each time a retail customer steps into his roastery/cafe warehouse.
A new niche for Stay Grounded is the recent purchase of Ram-Raid, a bottled cold-brew coffee concentrate business. The beauty of this acquisition is that Andrew now has full control of the production process, including an obvious ability to access and roast quality coffee beans creating only the finest brew.
Through-out the year Andrew also roasts small batches that are over and above his flagship blends and single origin options. These are considered the Rolls Royce of coffee and are certainly worth a try, particularly for those craving an enhanced coffee experience.
