Often young couples who decide to take the plunge and open a café fall short in many of the aspects that allow one to become genuinely successful. Not so for one of Germany’s greatest young exports Lily Lauterbach and her local partner in life Ivan Blackwell.
Enter ‘Lily’s on Leach’ a café which nails one of the many major requirements required in hospitality to be successful, they offer amazing service. Throw in top shelf coffee supplied by Pound Coffee Roasters combined with the magic Ivan produces from his commercial kitchen and bingo this small café is certainly worthy of a visit.
In normal circumstances hospitality businesses situated within commercial precincts tend to be just your run of the mill establishments with nothing fancy being offered however these cafes tend do enough in satisfying the hungry and thirsty.
Lily’s on the other hand is fast becoming a destination of choice for those customers wishing for smiles, service, home cooked food in a comfortable setting. Parking is not an issue and unlike many cafes there are restrooms inhouse. For the elderly and for mums and bubs there is plenty of space including a quiet corner to chill if one so wishes.
These guys are young battlers giving hospitality in its true form a fair dinkum crack. They are sincere with their efforts in wishing to offer a genuinely friendly environment where customers can be spoilt and made to feel welcome which is a credit to the efforts undertaken by this hard-working couple.
Lily’s on Leach is located at shop 3/276 Leach Hwy, Booragoon WA 6154 opposite JB Hi-fi
