This amazingly run operation has evolved over time becoming one of the most respected hospitality establishments in WA. With an earthy vision and passion to produce coffee and chocolate that resonates with the taste buds of customers, down to earth owner Purri is truly creating something special.

Purri keeps processes very simple through his wood fired roaster but rest assured his finished product is simply amazing and offers the perfect corporate or personal gift for the willing. By incorporating chocolate into his operation, a unique synergy is evident. Each finished bar is beautifully presented and has attached information on its journey from plantation to completion.

Groundswell has expanded by taking over adjacent land so those wishing to chill out in their café ease of parking is now guaranteed. With up to 20 revolving staff including new assistant roaster, James Wetti all combining to eagerly make a customer’s experience rewarding, it is little wonder that this operation is here for the long haul.

 Purri is so down to earth even ultra-quirky but ensuring a degree of organic sincerity and humility is what he and his team are trying to create. There is nothing false about this person and his desire is always to do the right thing for anyone involved in his business.
