Making a difference

How lucky are those who wish for a classy yet laid back café, one that will satisfy their taste buds and produce an environment that literally says come and we will make you feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected for taking your time to visit.

Folk and Merchant is such a café. This new venue is the brainchild of Laura and Gary Fletcher, a couple who truly get what it takes to bring to life a vision that allows the community to become engaged with something they can hang their hats on. This café has a positive twist for it allows customers to browse through a variety of handcrafted knickknacks, which includes kids clothing and much more. Coffee cuppings, yoga, pottery, and candle making classes, including live music are now on the radar for bringing this café closer to the community.

Nestled behind IGA in Doubleview if one loves to endure beautiful presented and tasty food options with ingredients that where possible are locally sourced then this is the place.
